We look forward to getting to know you.full time - unlimitedYour contribution to the energy transitionAs our EPC Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing utility-scale solar power projects throughout the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phase. You will take ownership of projects during the final stages of development and lead them through to Commercial Operation Date (COD).The role encompasses all key project management activities, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and close-out, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the required quality standards. You will work closely with and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, HSE, Legal, Finance, Administration, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M), to ensure successful project delivery.This position reports to the Project Manager Lead in Italy. The work location can be based in either Milan or Verona.You can look forward to the following tasks:Apply project management best practices, methodologies, and standards throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful project deliverySupport and take ownership of utility-scale PV projects during the final stages of development. Assess project budgets, schedules, risks, and overall feasibility before projects enter the EPC phaseManage internal approval processes throughout the project lifecycle and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirementsInitiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close out EPC projects in accordance with company standards and project objectivesTake full responsibility for project scope, budget, schedule, and quality performance throughout the EPC phaseLead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, and Commissioning resourcesCoordinate and align activities with supporting departments such as HSE, Legal,
Finance, Administration, Human Resources, Development, and Corporate QualityManage interfaces with external stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory authoritiesEnsure effective communication and reporting among all project stakeholders during project executionCoordinate the successful handover of completed projects to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team and the customer, ensuring all contractual and technical requirements are metOversee health, safety, environmental, and quality performance throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with all applicable HSE legislation, regulations, permits, and company policiesEnsure project governance is maintained in accordance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and applicable lawsProactively identify, assess, mitigate, and manage project risks and opportunitiesProvide regular and accurate project status reports to middle and senior management, and participate in steering committee meetings to support decision‑making and issue escalationDefine and implement the project execution strategy in coordination with management and relevant departments to maximize project successLead commercial and contractual negotiations with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, supported by the project team where necessaryTake timely corrective actions and provide leadership when issues arise that may impact the project's critical path, schedule, cost, or quality objectivesEnsure customer, supplier, and subcontractor contracts are executed throughout the project lifecycleYour energy is requiredYou impress us with these qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or equivalent) or Business with strong technical exposureMinimum of 2 years of experience in EPC project management, preferably involving utility-scale PV projects in ItalyExperience working with EPC contracts and subcontractor managementKnowledge of Italian permitting, grid connection,
and regulatory requirements for renewable energy projectsProficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent. In MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Power PointStrong motivation and willingness to take a hands‑on approach to addressing challenges and resolving issues during project executionSolid technical understanding of photovoltaic (PV) technology and utility‑scale solar projectsResults‑oriented, proactive, and self‑motivatedExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to effectively engage and collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholdersFluent in Italian and English, both written and spokenAvailability to travel frequently within Italy to visit projects regularllyEntrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and problem‑solving attitudeValid driver’s licensePMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent project management certification (preferred but not required)Your energy booster at JUWIAt JUWI, an inspiring working environment awaits you.
