To support our growth, we are looking for a Global Category Manager – Logistics who will take ownership of our logistics category at a global level, driving strategy, innovation, and value creation across regions.This is a high-impact role for a procurement professional who combines strategic sourcing expertise with strong logistics know-how, and who thrives in complex, international environments.Your ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute a global category strategy for Logistics, with full ownership and an entrepreneurial mindsetLead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFx, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting) for logistics servicesDrive cost optimization and value creation initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and related servicesRedesign and improve contractual frameworks and service models to enhance quality and performanceBuild and manage a global logistics supplier network, ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous improvementCollaborate with regional procurement teams and key stakeholders to ensure effective strategy executionMonitor logistics market trends (rates, capacity, risks) and proactively mitigate supply chain disruptionsLead digitalization and innovation initiatives (e.G. AI, data-driven sourcing, automation) within the logistics categoryYour backgroundDegree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field5–10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with strong exposure to logisticsSolid experience in logistics categories (transportation, freight, warehousing, 3PL/4PL, software/tool/ERP)Proven track record in managing global or multi-regional suppliersStrong negotiation skills, particularly in logistics contracts and rate structuresDeep understanding of logistics cost drivers, market dynamics, and supply chain risksExcellent stakeholder management skills,

Our individual differences make us successful.Compensation PackageThe employment framework is based on the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with an indicative level of B3 and a minimum gross annual salary starting from € 39.000,00. The specific level and compensation package will be defined based on the outcome of the selection process (including experience, skills set, and role fit), in accordance with objective, transparent, and gender-neutral criteria, in line with pay equity and equal opportunity principles.
