Technical Support Specialist
The Technical Support Specialist provides advanced technical support for complex customer inquiries related to electro-mechanical equipment and software solutions. Acting as a subject matter expert, this role drives issue resolution, supports product performance in the field, and ensures a high-quality customer experience through effective troubleshooting, escalation management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your role:
- Deliver expert technical support for complex customer issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring customers can effectively utilize Philips products and solutions.
- Act as a key escalation point for challenging technical cases, leveraging deep product knowledge and analytical skills to diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Partner closely with Field Service Engineers, Customer Care, Quality, Clinical, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D; teams to resolve issues and drive continuous product improvement.
- Contribute to quality and reliability initiatives by identifying trends, documenting recurring issues, and providing valuable feedback to influence future product enhancements.
- Continuously expand technical expertise through exposure to advanced troubleshooting, cross-functional projects, emerging technologies, and customer-facing problem-solving opportunities in a global environment.
You're the right fit if:
- No prior experience required with a Bachelor's Degree, or a minimum of 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in Technical Support, Customer Support, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills,
with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues, manage escalations, and communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Service Management, or equivalent.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while handling complex technical challenges.
Compensation & benefits Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €35.256 –€56.922. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
