Technical Safety Senior Engineer | Oil & Gas | Rome | Amaris Consulting At Amaris Consulting , we are an independent technology consulting firm providing guidance and solutions to businesses across Engineering, IT, and Life Sciences. With more than 7,500 talents across 60+ countries, we support our clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from strategy to execution. We are currently looking for a Technical Safety Senior Engineer to join our Engineering team and contribute to challenging Oil & Gas projects in an international environment.

As a Technical Safety Senior Engineer, you will: Perform Technical Safety Engineering activities for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects. Develop and review fire protection philosophies and fire & gas detection systems. Prepare and review Technical Safety engineering documentation, including design basis, calculations, specifications and reports.

Support Hazardous Area

Classification studies. Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and safety audits. Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.



Ensure compliance with international safety standards and project specifications.

Support multiple engineering projects simultaneously while proactively identifying technical risks and improvement opportunities. Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Safety or related Engineering. At least 10 years of experience in Technical Safety Engineering within Oil & Gas projects (Onshore and Offshore).

Fire Protection Engineering

Fire & Gas Detection Systems Safety Critical Elements (SCE) Experience with engineering software such as DNV PHAST, PHAWorks, DsPED , AutoCAD or similar.

Fluent

English (written and spoken).

Technical

Safety certifications.

Experience in international EPC projects. Previous experience with major Oil & Gas operators or EPC contractors. International and multicultural environment. Long-term engineering projects. Continuous training and technical certifications. Opportunity to work with leading companies in the Energy sector.
