Overview
As Senior Tech Lead for US Payroll, you will architect and scale a critical enterprise-grade platform serving SMBs to large enterprises. You'll partner with the Director of Engineering to shape architecture, drive key technical decisions, and uphold engineering excellence. You'll work across multiple teams to implement cross-cutting improvements, migrations, and bottleneck elimination.

Responsabilità
- Principal technical advisor and architect for critical initiatives aligning with business goals
- Drive technical decision-making and architecture reviews to balance delivery and long-term health
- Represent engineering leadership in planning with product and design for cross-product alignment
- Implement engineering best practices and scalable processes to boost velocity and quality
- Establish metrics/KPIs, drive post-mortems, and reduce organizational friction
- Mentor senior engineers and tech leads, enabling career development and hiring standards
- Bridge engineering with wider leadership to influence strategy across multiple teams and product areas
Requisiti fondamentali
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven leadership in organizations with 30+ engineers
- Strong system design and architecture skills
