Overview
As Plant Quality Sr. Manager you will lead the site quality function to drive customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. You will align cross-functional teams with corporate quality goals and implement modern quality systems to ensure robust, reliable products.
You will oversee KPI-driven performance and supplier quality to reduce defects and improve net promoter scores. This role offers impact across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain in a mission-driven agricultural technology company.
Responsabilità
- Lead the site quality function, build a culture of quality, and develop a site quality strategy aligned to corporate goals
- Implement and mature quality methodologies (e.g., APQP) and ISO 9001:2015 processes for proactive quality management
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and product development to strengthen product/process validation
- Ensure compliance with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal standards; represent plant quality in customer/dealer forums
- Oversee daily quality performance using KPIs and drive improvements in Right First Time, Defects per Unit,
and Cost of Poor Quality
- Eliminate manufacturing- and supplier-caused reliability issues through robust process improvements and supplier management
- Set clear, customer-impact priorities based on severity, frequency, and cost to improve product Net Promoter Scores
- Lead supplier quality initiatives, ensuring supplier readiness for new products and targeting improvements with critical or underperforming suppliers
Requisiti fondamentali
- 8+ years in Quality Management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in complex manufacturing environments; automotive or agricultural machinery background preferred
- Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems, supplier quality, and field quality processes
- Fluent English, written and spoken
