The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of all maintenance activities related to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express carriages and related equipment. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the rolling stock by implementing effective maintenance strategies, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and adhering to all relevant regulations and standards (ECM 779/2019). The VSOE Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for budget management, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiative, under the leadership of the Engineering Manager.La descrizione completa del lavoro illustra tutte le competenze, l'esperienza pregressa e le qualifiche che i candidati dovrebbero possedere.RequirementsMaintenance Planning & Strategy :Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and strategies to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the VSOE carriagesConduct regular inspections and assessments of the rolling stock to identify maintenance needsDevelop and manage a preventive & corrective maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and downtimeMonitoring of the maintenance plan, together with Fleet Supervisor (ECM3), following the ECM Standard 2019/779Maintenance Execution and Supervision:Oversee the execution of maintenance tasks, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently,
and to the required quality and ECM standardsTroubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues, providing technical guidance and support to the maintenance teamCoordinate with other departments, such as operations and on-board Staff, to minimize disruptions to railway serviceManage maintenance resources, including equipment, materials, and tools, to ensure their availability and proper utilizationImplement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce costs, and improve the reliability of the VSOE CarriagesECM 4:Ensure compliance with ECM regulations, standards, and safety requirementsMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation to meet regulatory requirementsLiaise with national safety agencies and participate in audits and inspectionsAnalyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvementDevelop and implement xysqume emergency response plans for maintenance-related incidents, such as derailments, equipment failures, and severe weather eventsInventory Management:Manage the inventory of spare parts and materials, ensuring that adequate supplies are available to meet maintenance needsImplement inventory control measures to minimize waste and obsolescenceBudget Management:Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits, Prepare and submit budget reports to managementBenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePension PlanTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Premio#J-18808-Ljbffr
