Overview
As Solar PV Project Engineer in Italy, you will drive the engineering, permitting and execution of utility-scale PV plants. You will work within a team delivering high-performance, regulation-aligned renewable projects across Italy, from design and feasibility to documentation and grid access. You'll address technical optimization, due diligence and compliance, enabling successful Sole Authorization and construction milestones.
This role offers impact by shaping large-scale solar developments in a market-leading portfolio. You will collaborate across functions to ensure safe, efficient project delivery and grid integration.
Responsabilità
- Develop and optimize PV system designs (module layout, sizing, electrical configuration)
- Perform energy yield assessments and feasibility studies, evaluate layout tradeoffs
- Design internal electrical lines, MV/HV substations, and overhead lines
- Prepare technical documentation for Sole Authorization,
Grid Connection, Construction, and Commissioning
- Conduct technical due diligence and support grid connection processes
Requisiti fondamentali
- MSc or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar
- 5 years of experience in PV and/or wind project development/execution
- Strong understanding of Italian grid regulations and authorization processes
- Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, QGIS, and MS Office
- Experience with Sole Authorization processes and documentation for grid connection
- Fluent in Italian and English (C1)
- Willingness to travel across project locations in Italy
