Overview

As a Software Engineer at Hitachi Rail, you contribute to the design, development and updating of manufacturing software, balancing budget, schedule, risk, and reuse. You work on digitalization and production-support tools that enable efficient processes in the manufacturing area. You collaborate to deliver complete software solutions aligned with company standards and ensure reliable operation across platforms.

This role offers impact by advancing manufacturing digital capabilities within a global rail leader. You will join a team focused on pragmatic, results-driven improvements in production technology.

Responsabilità

- Contribute to design, development and updating of software for the manufacturing area considering functional, performance and quality constraints




- Manage software and the network supporting the manufacturing area
- Implement digitalization processes in manufacturing and execute actions per the MFG action plan
- Support production processes with new technologies and software
- Provide production line support and ensure the complete SW solution (modules, documentation, tools) adheres to company standards
- Ensure correct operation of software on applicable platforms

Requisiti fondamentali
- Advanced software techniques, scheduling and cost estimation
- Programming languages: LabVIEW, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML
