Posizione
We are looking for a Senior Supply Planner to join the Supply Chain Operations Team and contribute to the integrated planning of production and materials within the company S&OP; process.
The role will work closely with Commercial, Technical and Production teams to translate market demand into realistic plans, balancing business priorities, material availability and production capacity.
The onboarding path includes structured mentoring, training on SAP S/4HANA and Kinaxis Maestro, and progressive exposure to operational decisions based on data, industrial constraints and planning scenarios.
Main responsibilities
Production planning
- Contribute to the definition of the finite-capacity production plan, ensuring alignment between demand, commercial priorities and plant capacity
- Collect, verify and integrate data from ERP and other company sources, ensuring quality and reliability to support planning activities
- Provide timing guidance to Supply Chain and Factory teams for procurement, material progress and production activities
- Prepare reports and KPIs to monitor plan accuracy,
capacity utilization and key operational trends
- Develop knowledge of products, production cycles and industrial constraints to support robust and informed planning
Cross-functional collaboration and support:
- Work with Sales, Demand Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management and Factory Scheduling to ensure alignment between demand, materials and production capacity
- Develop planning scenarios to assess production feasibility, impact on priorities and support for commercial offers
ERP and digital tools
- Use SAP S/4HANA to extract and analyze data on materials, orders and requirements to support planning decisions
- Manage complex datasets using Excel and analytical tools, turning data into clear and actionable operational insights
- Work with APS systems and planning tools, including Kinaxis Maestro, to build reliable plans and alternative scenarios
Process improvement and optimization_
- Identify improvement opportunities in planning processes, material management and data integration
- Take part in optimization initiatives based on data analysis, process standardization and improved decision-making
Inventory control and emergency stock management
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent availability issues and support operational continuity
Requisiti
- A professional with a least 7 years of experience in supply planning, production or supply chain,
motivated to grow in a complex manufacturing environment focused on integrated planning
- Analytical, structured and problem-solving oriented, with an interest in data, industrial processes and production scenarios
- Curious and adaptable, willing to learn and use ERP, APS and digital planning solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with different functions and clear presentation of analyses
- Accurate, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Management Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
- Experience in supply planning, production planning, material planning or similar roles within industrial environments
- Good command of Excel and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA is considered a plus
- Familiarity with APS systems or planning tools; Kinaxis Maestro is considered a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English
