You will conduct cutting‑edge research in quantum optics, photonics and advanced electronic systems, contributing to both fundamental research and applied technology development.This position offers the opportunity to work at the frontier of quantum technologies within a dynamic research environment. You will design and execute experiments, publish scientific results and contribute to the development of next‑generation quantum sensing and communication systems.We are looking for someone with a strong physics or engineering background who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of quantum technology from laboratory research to real‑world applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign, set up and conduct experiments in quantum optics, photonics or quantum electronic devicesDevelop and characterise quantum sensors, single‑photon detectors or quantum communication componentsPerform theoretical modelling and numerical simulations to support experimental activitiesAnalyse experimental data using statistical methods and scientific computing toolsPrepare scientific publications, technical reports and patent applicationsContribute to research proposals for national and European funding programmes (Horizon Europe, ERC,
