This positions will be site-based in Milan, Italy.We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical team. The Mechanical Engineer will oversee technical project delivery including reviewing tender documentation, selection of plant and materials and submittals, coordination of the services, and oversight of the production of coordinated drawings.ResponsibilitiesManage relevant client communicationsDesign managementCoordinate work with contractors to ensure services fit togetherPrepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activitiesComplete all HVAC deliverables within a project and safety criteriaCommunicate with project team to sequence installation of pipework to meet scheduled datesAssess and manage the project commercially to validate the project on handover from estimating, and proceed through to full technical procurement of all equipment, specialist sub-contractors and suppliersAssist with the management of the project installation works to ensure a consistent high standard of site works and manage the programme through to final commissioning and handoverAssist with documenting and costing of changes to the work scopes and preparation of the monthly valuations and final accountPrevious experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essentialDesign management xysqume experience is essentialBachelors’ degree in Engineering or similarExcellent organisation, communication, and time management skillsProficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & ProjectWork with a market leader delivering turnkey data centre projects across EuropeCompetitive Salary packageWorking within a collaborative team environmentSupportive career developmentOption of rotational rosterWinthrop Technologies Ltd is an equal opportunities employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
