The candidate will play a vital role in maximizing profitability and minimizing risk through efficient and effective trading and logistics strategies.ResponsibilitiesShort-term demand forecastsExecute daily and within-day trading in the Italian Power market, including buying and selling power to capitalize on market fluctuations and optimize profitabilityMonitoring and optimisation of the gas customer portfolio, limiting risk within the established parametersCollaboration in regulatory monitoring and analysis of potential impacts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks and taking advantage of opportunitiesSupporting trading strategies with innovative tools and data analysis, backtesting, ecc.Apply gas trading insight to design, optimize and rethink automated trading toolsGenerate positive P/L and capture market opportunities based on analysis of market conditionsLead Algo-Trading Project in the Italian Power Market, with a specific focus on the Italian XBID market, including strategy design, implementation and operational supervisionForecast and control the market guarantees required in the Italian gas market, including balancing,



transport capacity, storage capacity, and other regulatory requirementsEnsure compliance with market guarantee regulations and optimize financial performanceProgramming and nomination of gas storage operations, participation in gas storage capacity auctions and identification of flexibility opportunities to improve the P&L of storage activitiesSupport short-term trading and operational activities in the Italian power marketQualifications1 to 2 years of experience in power trading, logistics, or a similar role within the energy industry. xysqume Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as economics, engineering, finance, or a related disciplineFluency in Italian and English (oral and written) is essential.High analytical and teamwork skillsExperience in programming and data analysis, with working knowledge of Python and SQLWho are you?Goal-oriented with high performance standards and strong ownership mindsetStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and meticulous approachAbility to work with large datasets and use appropriate analytical tools (e.G.
