ppRINA is currently recruiting for a Capital Projects Sustainable Finance Advisory Junior Project Manager to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Management Consulting Sustainability Strategic Projects Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pIn this role, you will support public and private clients throughout the entire lifecycle of capital-intensive investment projects, from opportunity identification to project delivery. You will contribute to participation in EU and national tenders, ensure alignment with relevant policy frameworks, and help structure financial instruments in collaboration with banks, promotional institutions, and other financial partners. You will work across strategy development, financing design, and project execution, combining financial, regulatory, and technical perspectives to support the development and implementation of sustainable, bankable investment initiatives. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 pThe new team member will be involved across the full lifecycle of capital-intensive projects, covering strategy definition, financing design, and project implementation. /p pKey activities include: /p ul liSupport Clients in the early strategic phase, helping define investment and financing strategies aligned with EU and national policy frameworks. /li liProvide advisory on policy compliance and eligibility criteria of relevant funding programmes, and analyze business plans to ensure alignment with targeted financial instruments. /li liAssist Clients in applications for grants, subsidized loans, or blended finance schemes, ensuring strategic and regulatory coherence. /li liSupport Clients during interlocution phases with national and European entities involved in the financing process, facilitating effective communication and alignment with institutional requirements. /li liCoordinate the preparation of techno‑economic proposals, integrating inputs from internal colleagues and ensuring a consistent value proposition that delivers end‑to‑end support to the Client across the entire funding project lifecycle. /li liSupport participation in European Commission tenders by coordinating internal capabilities and expertise,



with a focus on policy‑driven green transition initiatives. /li liAct as an interface across divisions, coordinating operational teams during project implementation and PMO functions, supporting monitoring, reporting, and project risk‑mitigation activities while ensuring alignment with Client expectations and approved project scope. /li /ul pIn general, the resource will have the following responsibilities. /p ul liProject Leadership: be active part of a team of consultants, playing as a reference point for other colleagues and coordinating their efforts to achieve project objectives /li liClient Engagement: act as a key point of contact for Clients, understanding their business goals and challenges and providing strategic guidance and insights /li liContinuous Improvement: stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and maintain ongoing monitoring of national and EU funding opportunities and the evolving policy framework, ensuring timely alignment with Client needs and emerging strategic priorities. /li liPresentations and Reporting: prepare and deliver presentations to Clients, effectively communicating project updates, findings, and recommendations /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Engineering (Energy, Industrial or related fields), Economics, Finance, or Business Management /li liAn international double degree is considered a strong plus /li li1 to 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, in a consultancy firm or in a result driven company /li liKnowledge in national/EU funding programmes and policy framework /li liProfessional Knowledge of spoken and written Italian and English /li liProfessional experience with MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €30000 and €35000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
