Overview As a Payroll Expert in Deel's Payroll Operations, you own end-to-end payroll execution for designated regions, combining regulatory expertise with system implementation. You collaborate across teams to ensure accurate, timely payroll and compliant HR processes, while guiding changes in local regulations. You will drive process improvements to support rapid growth and global coverage.

Retribuzione / Benefits Stock grant opportunities remote work flexibility WeWork access (optional) additional perks and benefits by country inclusive workplace competitive pay Responsabilità Evaluate and select payroll software aligned with Deel requirements Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in your region and trained countries Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for local tax compliance Own local payroll and HR processes including handling involuntary deductions and employee onboarding/offboarding Schedule payroll expense collections and reconcile with expenses Assess and improve growth-related processes ensuring compliance Monitor regulatory changes and communicate them across teams Provide cross-functional payroll and HR expertise to regional stakeholders Answer complex payroll and HR questions from employees and clients in your region Requisiti fondamentali ~ Bachelor in Business (or related) ~5+ years of payroll and HR experience in the relevant country ~ Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations and HR policies ~ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines ~ Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement ~ Interpersonal skills with ability to explain complex issues clearly ~ Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions ~ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets ~ Strong proficiency in English ~ Experience managing technology and external payroll providers (advantage) ~ Experience implementing payrolls on recognized payroll solutions (preferred) ~ cross-functional collaboration ~ clear communication ~ problem solving ~ local payroll software solutions ~ Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets ~ vendor management
