Overview In this role you will drive Environmental, Health & Safety due diligence and compliance projects for private equity, corporate and financial clients. You'll assess EHS risks, conduct audits, and support M&A; transaction advisory across diverse industries, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll communicate findings to clients and stakeholders and contribute to team development.
This position offers hybrid work in Rome or Milan and a chance to shape sustainable change through expert EHS guidance.
Retribuzione / Benefits Flexible work environment Remote working up to 3-4 days per week Lunch vouchers Investment in your development Leaders you can count on and Leadership Principles Inspiring colleagues and projects Responsabilità Conduct Environmental, Health & Safety due diligence assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing transactions Perform EHS compliance audits and site assessments across industrial and commercial facilities Review environmental permitting and regulatory compliance obligations and management systems Evaluate occupational health & safety programs, risk assessments, and contractor management processes Identify, quantify, and prioritize EHS risks,
liabilities and improvement opportunities Prepare high-quality technical reports and client deliverables in Italian and English Participate in site visits, client meetings, and interactions with external stakeholders Contribute to continuous development of the team and support business development activities Support proposal preparation and client relationship management Requisiti fondamentali ~5+ years of professional experience in EHS consulting, compliance, auditing or related advisory services ~ Demonstrated experience in EHS compliance audits and site assessments ~ Strong knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation (Legislative Decree 152/2006, 81/2008) ~ Experience supporting EHS Due Diligence projects within M&A; or transaction advisory ~ Strong analytical, report-writing and project execution skills ~ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities ~ Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) ~ Experience with ESG assessments or sustainability due diligence (advantage) ~ Auditor qualifications (ISO 14001/ISO 45001) or RSPP qualifications (advantage) ~ Knowledge of additional European languages (advantage) ~ Excellent communication ~ Stakeholder engagement ~ Analytical mindset ~ EHS due diligence ~ EHS compliance audits ~ Site assessments
