Overview In this role you'll ensure reliable, high-performance critical infrastructure across Equinix data centres. You'll work with engineering, operations and technology teams to implement monitoring, automation and control systems that support mission-critical facilities. The position offers exposure to global collaboration, problem solving and continuous improvement of facilities.

Retribuzione / Benefits Employee Assistance Program competitive benefits aligned with core values premio eligibility equity may be offered depending on position inclusive and sustainable benefits Responsabilità Configure, onboard and validate assets, alarms and monitoring points within BMS and DCIM platforms Support the implementation and validation of power circuit monitoring within BCM systems Review and maintain electrical hierarchies using one-line diagrams and schematics Validate and optimise performance metrics such as PUE and WUE Investigate and resolve data quality, integration, communication and controls performance issues Support controls integrations, validating point mapping, alarming strategies and data flows Participate in commissioning, startup,
testing and validation for controls and monitoring deployments Collaborate with vendors, consultants and site teams to deliver projects Develop technical documentation, procedures and implementation standards Share knowledge and best practices to improve operational effectiveness and reliability Support a culture of continuous learning, innovation and operational excellence Requisiti fondamentali Experience in controls engineering, building automation, industrial controls or critical facility environments Strong troubleshooting skills across field devices, controllers, network components and supervisory systems Knowledge of controls systems supporting electrical, HVAC, fire protection and other critical infrastructure Experience with BACnet, Modbus and OPC Familiarity with Schneider Electric PLCs and AVEVA System Platform Experience with Kepware, Matrikon or similar historian/data collection platforms Understanding of IP networking concepts and network troubleshooting Ability to interpret Sequences of Operation, P&IDs;, control drawings and diagrams Fluent Italian and English written and spoken Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, customer-focused problem-solving approach Excellent communication Stakeholder management Proactivity BACnet Modbus OPC
