About the Company Brainotech IT Solutions is a global IT services and managed infrastructure company providing end-to-end enterprise technology solutions. The company specializes in supporting distributed organizations with scalable IT operations, field engineering, and infrastructure management. The Network / IT Field Engineer will be responsible for installing, mounting, connecting, testing, and troubleshooting IT hardware at designated customer sites, following the site-specific BOM and project requirements.
Install and mount timeclocks, kiosks, tablets, monitors, screens, peripherals, and other IT hardware. Install and mount AP (Access Point) devices according to site requirements. Support AV installation and conference room setup, including screens and related equipment.
Complete physical cabling, connections, PoE equipment, USB docks, and peripherals. Perform hardware testing, functionality checks, and basic connectivity troubleshooting. Work from the Bill of Materials (BOM) and report missing, damaged, or faulty equipment.
Previous experience as a Network Engineer, IT Engineer, Field Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar. Strong practical experience in IT hardware installation and deployment.
Experience with screens, tablets, APs, monitors, kiosks, peripherals, and AV equipment. Drilling and mounting experience is required. Comfortable using hand and power tools for installation work. Basic networking, PoE, cabling, and connectivity troubleshooting experience.
Ability to work independently at customer sites and communicate professionally. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between UK locations. Ability to use TimeCamp for accurate project time tracking.
Tools ~ Engineers must have access to the necessary tools for drilling, mounting, cabling, AP installation, and general IT hardware deployment, including appropriate hand/power tools and testing equipment.
