Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical &
- Piping Supervisor to join the site team of a large-scale industrial project in the energy sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the installation of mechanical equipment, as well as piping assembly during the construction and pre-commissioning phases.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of mechanical equipment, pressure vessels, skids and cooling towers on site.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, assigned personnel and supplier representatives within your discipline.
- Manage interfaces with other site disciplines and participate in regular construction progress meetings.
- Ensure that all work complies with engineering documentation, project plans and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and validate inspection plans and quality documentation in coordination with assembly companies and the project QA/QC manager.
- Identify and coordinate the resolution of technical issues related to mechanical and piping activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and schedule requirements across all subcontractor activities.
- Monitor work progress, quantities, milestones and subcontractor productivity.
- Prepare weekly reports and follow up on NCRs, SEWOs and final project documentation.
Your Experience
- Minimum of 10 years' successful experience as a Mechanical &
- Piping Supervisor on industrial projects.
- Demonstrated experience in team supervision and subcontractor management on site.
Your Profile
- Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical assembly and industrial piping installation.
- Good knowledge of ASME and B31.3 standards.
- Leadership, autonomy, attention to detail and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong coordination, progress monitoring and reporting skills.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
