The Hardware Engineer will participate to the definition of the hardware topics under the leadership of the Hardware Team Leader within the Handheld Scanners Business Unit. Design of analogue and digital circuits for low power battery operated products

- Documentation of design specifications and implementation details
- Collaboration with other team members (including optical, hardware and software engineers) to agree system designs, interfaces and protocols etc.
- Flexibility is essential as specifications may not be fully defined at the start of development
- Development of appropriate test hardware and procedures, both informal and formal, to prove the correct operation of hardware.

Education: Electronics Engineering or Computer Science Engineering (MA Degree) Languages: Italian - Fluent English Experience: 3⁄4 years of experience in embedded HW design, low voltage power supply, interfaces. Electronics platform for embedded system (application processor)

- Microcontroller with real time operating system
- Microprocessor Systems knowledge, preferably ARM based
- Electronic CAD skilled, C/C++ knowledge
- Linux basic knowledge
