THE ROLE For a prestigious international luxury brand , we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Boutique Director to lead one of its key boutiques in the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero della Moda. The role will have full responsibility for the boutique’s commercial performance, team leadership, client experience and operational excellence , acting as a strong Brand Ambassador and ensuring the highest standards of luxury retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, motivate and develop the boutique team, fostering a high-performance and client-centric culture. Drive sales performance and ensure the achievement of commercial targets and KPIs. Develop and implement a strong clienteling strategy , with a particular focus on VICs, HNWIs and international clientele.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, supporting the team in growing and retaining their client portfolios. Ensure an exceptional and consistent client experience in line with the brand’s positioning and service standards. Monitor and analyse key retail KPIs and identify opportunities for business growth.
Coach the team on sales techniques, product knowledge, clienteling and luxury service. Ensure the highest standards of boutique presentation, visual merchandising and operational excellence. Collaborate closely with Retail, HR, Merchandising, Marketing and HQ functions.
Represent the brand during VIP events, client appointments and key local initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS ~7+ years of experience in luxury retail , with significant experience in a Boutique/Store Manager or Director role. ~ Proven track record managing a high-end boutique, flagship or strategically relevant store . ~ Strong commercial acumen and solid understanding of luxury retail KPIs. ~ Established experience with international and high-net-worth clientele and sophisticated clienteling practices. ~ Excellent leadership, coaching and people-development skills. ~ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a polished and credible presence. ~ Fluent Italian and English; additional languages are a plus. ~ Passion for luxury, fashion and delivering an exceptional client experience. ~ Strong organizational skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
