ou will contribute to data science, AI, and spatial data activities within an international project supporting European institutions and agencies, developing advanced analytical solutions and data-driven services.
Data Science &
- Spatial Data: Analyse and manage complex datasets, including spatial and environmental data, using robust data structures and spatial database technologies.
AI &
- Machine Learning: Develop and apply statistical, data mining, Machine Learning, and NLP techniques to support advanced analytical use cases.
Data Engineering &
- MLOps: Implement reproducible data science workflows, CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerised environments, testing strategies, and APIs.
Data Governance &
- Responsible AI: Contribute to transparent, explainable, fair,
and accountable AI solutions, ensuring appropriate governance throughout the data and model lifecycle.
Visualisation &
- Scientific Reporting: Develop data visualisations, cartographic outputs, analytical reports, and scientific documentation to communicate results effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Data Science: Python, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter Notebook, statistical analysis and data mining.
Databases &
- Spatial Data: SQL, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, spatial data modelling and optimisation.

- Machine Learning: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Machine Learning, NLP and Artificial Intelligence.
MLOps &
- Software Engineering: Git, CI/CD, Docker, testing, API development, MLOps practices.

- Analytics: Data visualisation, cartography, scientific reporting, environmental and spatial datasets.
