Overview

As an AWS Data Engineer at NTT DATA, you will shape data platforms by acquiring, transforming and loading data into data lakes for analytics and model consumption. You will collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases and objectives, and drive scalable, secure cloud infrastructure improvements. The role emphasizes migrating to highly available architectures, implementing monitoring and CI/CD pipelines, and applying best practices for deployment and maintenance.

This is a hybrid role offering global collaboration and opportunities to impact data-driven decision making.

Responsabilità

- Data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, and loading into data lakes for analytics/ML
- Assess and propose changes to current application infrastructure
- Define and document deployment and maintenance best practices
- Migrate infrastructure with zero downtime to highly available, scalable systems
- Set up monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK stack
- Define service capacity planning strategies




- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools
- Write infrastructure as code (CloudFormation or equivalent)

Requisiti fondamentali
- Cloud native experience in at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- At least 5 years of AWS experience
- Big Data architectures knowledge (cloud and on-prem)
- Docker and Kubernetes experience; ECS/EKS is a plus
- Serverless experience with AWS Lambda
- Strong security practices (IAM Roles, KMS)
- AWS infrastructure and networking experience
- Experience migrating workloads from on-prem to cloud
- Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
- Proven programming skills in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting
- Agile/Kanban experience
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect and/or Developer)
