Overview In this role you help clients fulfill complex financial reporting and tax requirements through advanced valuation methods and industry insight. You will contribute to the development of valuation standards and work on a range of asset and liability valuations, including complex securities, intangibles, and capital structures. You'll present findings to project teams and support client communications while guiding junior staff.
This role sits within a collaborative, globally-recognized advisory practice that emphasizes rigorous analysis and client value creation.
Responsabilità
- Gather data and industry context across multiple sectors to support valuations
- Provide target industry insights on markets and competitors
- Perform valuation analysis and determine appropriate valuation methodologies; build and review financial models
- Present results clearly in reports to project teams
- Assist in developing client-facing presentations and publications
- Manage junior staff on analyses, reports, and presentations
- Work on diverse engagement types including business valuations, purchase price allocations, complex securities valuations, and dispute consulting
- Review valuations of hedge funds and private equity interests
Requisiti fondamentali
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an advisory firm specializing in valuing companies, intangible assets, and financial assets/liabilities
- Experience constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial/statistical models (e.g., DCF, income approach, comps, transactions, excess earnings)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; knowledge of Italian civil code and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good verbal and written communication; experience in managing staff
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
