Race Service
Compensation depending on experience. This is a contractor engagement.
You are the person clients call when they need to know everything is handled because you handled it before they thought to ask. You already know where every deliverable stands, what's at risk, and who needs to hear from you today.
You manage accounts. You manage trust. You manage the project organization. You know the brief, budget, timeline better than anyone in the room and you own the outcomes. You know the budget and you know when a timeline is slipping three days before it actually does, and you've already got a plan to fix it.
You sit between the client's ambition and the team's execution. You translate in both directions. You don't wait for things to come to you. You go get them. Approvals, answers, decisions, alignment. You're wired to pursue clarity. You’re wired to make things move forward. This is a strategic seat, not a status-report seat.
Race Service is a small, agile team that goes from brief to delivery in days. There's no 40-person account team to pass things through. Account management here is not paper-pushing. It's project management, trust-building, relationship-growing, and seeing the next opportunity before the client names it. You bring it to your team before anyone has to ask.
What you’ll be doing
- You will report to the Account Director but you will be often asked to own the client relationship from project management to account management. You will own project tracking from kick-off through final delivery. You are the primary point of contact, the person who keeps clients informed, confident, and coming back.
- Be the strategic read on the client, not just the contact. Understand their business and priorities, and bring that thinking back into the room.
- Draft, route, and secure approval on Statements of Work and project budgets, ensuring what we promise is what we can deliver. Profitably, and on time.
- You must have excellent organizational and project management skills, with strong proficiency in tools such as Google Sheets and other organizational software. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in managing schedules, developing and tracking project timelines, overseeing budgets, and using planning and budgeting tools to keep projects organized, efficient, and on track.
- Act as the first point of contact on upcoming projects and coordinate responses to client requests and RFPs.
- Responsible for current client revenue retention as well as current client revenue growth
- Work with creative and production teams to build proactive pitches for your clients. See the opportunities before clients ask.
- Take a proactive approach to project management, owning and managing project timelines across all stages of production and post-production to ensure deadlines, deliverables, and key milestones stay on track.
- Build and maintain project schedules in collaboration with producers and department leads. Book crew and resources with appropriate notice.
- Oversee post-production coordination. Track deliverables, revisions, approvals, and timelines to keep projects moving steadily toward completion.
- Coordinate between the EU and US team to ensure every project is on track, with the right resources engaged at the right times.
- Proactively identify and flag risks, delays, or scope changes, internally and with clients, before they become problems.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date project documentation. Briefs, schedules, budgets, status updates, and client correspondence.
- Collaborate closely with creative, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs, shared context, and executional clarity across every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Represent Race Service with a professional, calm, and solutions-oriented presence in every client interaction. You are our ambassador to them and their advocate to us.
- This role involves working outside standard hours, international travel, and working weekends and holidays.
