As our organization continues to grow, we are strengthening our Finance & Accounting function by progressively bringing key accounting activities in-house and building a scalable finance organization to support the Group's future development.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play an active role in managing the company's accounting operations while contributing to the development of our Finance function.
You will work in an international environment, collaborating daily with our headquarters and other Group companies.
Please note: English is used on a daily basis for meetings, emails and communication with international colleagues. Therefore, a minimum B2 level of English is an essential requirement. Applications not meeting this requirement will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Perform monthly closing activities and account reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements under Italian GAAP (OIC).
- Support financial reporting to the Group headquarters.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Manage fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
- Support treasury activities and bank reconciliations.
- Manage periodic VAT and tax-related accounting activities.
- Liaise with external auditors and accounting advisors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.
RequirementsExperience
- At least 4 years' experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Solid experience with Italian statutory accounting.
- Experience in structured companies or multinational environments is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting statutory financial statements.
- Experience with financial reporting and intercompany transactions is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC).
- Familiarity with IFRS and reporting within international groups is considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of month-end closing processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, TeamSystem or similar.
Languages
- Italian Mothertongue
- English B2 or higher (C1 preferred).
