We are Mahadev Indian Kitchen, a Indian restaurant, looking for a passionate Independent Chef I(Zelfstandig werkende kok I) to join our kitchen team. Are you a skilled chef who thrives in the kitchen? As our chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of dishes and meal components. You will work under the guidance of our head chef or owner but can also independently manage the kitchen when needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow chefs and, if required, supervise kitchen assistants. Your Responsibilities:

- Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
- Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
- Supervising the work of kitchen assistants(hulpkracht) and making corrections where necessary.
- Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
- Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.

- Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
- Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods
