Our Mechanical Engineers work in an interdisciplinary environment aiming to design buildings that maximise value for our clients whilst minimising their environmental impact.As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will:Act as a key part of the Building Services Engineering Senior Team, leading multidisciplinary projects while providing technical guidance and mentoring to the other mechanical engineers.Act as project lead engineer in managing the service and in having a direct interface with the clients' team.Liaise with clients to assist in setting the design ambitions and with the project stakeholders to develop the design and the coordination of the mechanical requirements and their impact on the project.We also value:Sound knowledge in mechanical engineering fundamentalsBachelor/Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Building/Energy EngineeringAbility to technically lead and manage the design process from conceptual layout to detailed design and constructionExperience with Data Center and or Industrial buildings projectsAt least 10 years’ experience in the design of mechanical systemsExperience of working within a BIM environment using Revit with knowledge of parametric designKnowledge of both English and Italian, written and spokenGood communication skills essential for team‑based workingExcellent planning and organization skills required for our fast‑paced environmentMust be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challengesWhy Arup?At Arup, we believe in rewarding our members for their contributions to our shared success.
