Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities. /ph3Accounting Specialist (f/m/d) /h3h3Responsibilities /h3ulliGeneral Ledger Accounting /liliManage daily GL activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, payroll postings, and foreign exchange related transactions.



/liliEnsure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP requirements. /liliSupport the maintenance and consistency of financial master data and accounting structures. /liliTax Compliance /liliEnsure compliance with VAT regulations, withholding taxes, and other local tax requirements. /liliManage Confirmation of Arrivals (CoA), and EU reporting requirements where applicable. /liliSupport statutory and regulatory compliance activities. /liliClosing Reporting /liliSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. /liliPrepare financial reports and supporting documentation required. /liliTreasury Payments /liliExecute manual and mass payment runs. /liliSupport cash reporting and treasury-related activities. /liliAudit Support /liliSupport internal and external audits. /liliPrepare audit documentation and ensure timely responses to auditors. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus. /liliExperience: 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, R2R or similar roles. /liliAccounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is considered a plus. /liliTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred. /liliLanguages: Excellent proficiency in English. /liliPersonal Attributes: Proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving attitude, team‑oriented approach, flexibility, and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%). /li /ulpThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
