ppMuviq is a multinational automotive company specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of transmission systems and powertrain components for a wide range of markets, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and industrial applications. /ppbAbout the Role /b /ppWe are seeking an experienced Plant Purchasing Manager to lead and optimize all procurement activities within our manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager and working closely with Corporate Procurement, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of materials, components, and services while achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in an automotive manufacturing environment. The Plant Purchasing Manager will drive supplier performance, support operational excellence, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives through effective sourcing and procurement strategies. /ppbResponsibilities /b /pulliDevelop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with plant and corporate objectives. /liliManage supplier relationships and lead commercial negotiations to secure the best cost, quality, and delivery conditions. /liliMonitor procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. /liliIdentify and implement cost reduction and value engineering opportunities. /liliEnsure the uninterrupted supply of materials and services required for plant operations. /liliCollaborate closely with Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support operational performance. /liliConduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply risks. /liliLead supplier performance reviews and manage corrective action plans when required. /liliEnsure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, industry standards,



and regulatory requirements. /liliWork closely with Corporate Procurement and Global Sourcing teams to align local purchasing activities with global strategies. /liliLead, coach, and develop a team of Purchasing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. /liliManage escalations related to supplier quality, delivery, capacity, or commercial issues. /li /ulpbQualifications /b /pulliBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. /liliMinimum 10 years of purchasing experience within the automotive manufacturing industry. /liliProven experience in a Plant Purchasing Manager or Senior Purchasing Manager role. /liliPrevious experience managing and developing a purchasing team. /liliStrong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. /liliSolid understanding of direct and indirect purchasing processes. /liliExperience working within multinational manufacturing environments. /liliProficiency in ERP systems, preferably AS400, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. /liliKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and cost reduction methodologies. /liliStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. /liliExcellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. /liliFluent English, both written and spoken. /li /ulpbRequired Skills /b /pulliLeadership /liliNegotiation Skills /liliResults Orientation /liliTeamwork and Collaboration /li /ulpbWhat We Offer /b /pulliThe opportunity to join a dynamic and international automotive manufacturing environment. /liliA key leadership position with direct impact on plant performance and business results. /liliProfessional growth opportunities within a global organization. /li /ulpThis position is open to candidates of all genders (L. 903/77 and L. 125/91).
