Legga i dettagli completi qui sotto e invii la sua candidatura oggi stesso.Our Client is looking for a Consultant FPGA Design Engineer to work in their Research and Development Department, which is actively involved in the field of optical communications for satellite applications, in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).The Consultant will support the design, realisation and operation of a new test-facility aiming at assessing and certifying the interoperability of Optical Communication Terminal Payloads.ResponsibilitiesDesign and validate High-Speed Modems and DSP blocks (> 100 Gb/s)Conduct test-campaigns following relevant standardsActive participation in international standardisation committeesQualifications and ExperienceStrong passion for the development of new technologiesDegree in Telecommunication Engineering or Computer ScienceTypically 10+ years' experienceKnowledge of High-Speed Serial-Transceiver Designs in FPGACoding and data handling experience“Problem Solving” attitude, autonomy and “pro-activity”Team leadershipWillingness to learn new tools and methodologiesLocationThis is a contract position based in Livorno, Italy.
