The role requires strong hands-on technical capability, experience with Snowflake-based data platforms, and the ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders, data teams, architects, and senior technology stakeholders.What You'll Be DoingDesign and develop end-to-end BI and analytics solutions using Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and Microsoft Power Platform componentsDefine scalable Power BI architectures aligned with enterprise data strategy, governance, security, and performance requirementsBuild Power BI datasets, reports, dashboards, and semantic modelsLead migration from legacy BI tools to Power BIAssess existing reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data models and define migration strategiesDesign Power BI solutions leveraging Snowflake as a strategic data platformCollaborate with architecture, data engineering, and business teams to define target‑state solutionsArticulate solution options, trade-offs, risks,
and benefits to technical and non-technical stakeholdersDefine and promote best practices for Power BI development, governance, security, and performance optimisationWhat You’ll Bring AlongBSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field; Snowflake certification(s) strongly desirableExperience: Minimum 5–8 years in data engineering, data warehousing, or data architecture rolesStrong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI ServiceAdvanced experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and semantic modellingExtensive experience designing enterprise‑scale Power BI solutionsSolid understanding of dimensional modelling, star schemas, facts, dimensions, and measuresExperience integrating Power BI with SnowflakeStrong SQL and data modelling skillsExperience with Power BI governance, security, xysqume Row‑Level Security (RLS), and deployment practicesProven experience migrating solutions from BI platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, BusinessObjects, MicroStrategy, or similar tools to Power BIExperience engaging with architects, senior stakeholders, and business usersWork closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirementsPresent solution recommendations and architectural decisions clearly and confidentlyExplain why proposed solutions are appropriate from technical, business, governance, and operational perspectivesDrive adoption of best practices and modern analytics standards across the organisationDesirable Skills: Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Git‑based deployment processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
