A Lead Project Manager, will deliver, lead and project manage assigned studies across Phases I-IV in a variety of therapeutic areas within our growing Clinical Operations department. He/She will provide oversight of the clinical projects to ensuring that the projects are released within timelines and inside budget. He/She will support the Director of Clinical Operations or will be direct reporting for the clinical project managers team. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**: - Responsible for the execution of the assigned projects
- Acts as Project/Program Director inside the project team, monitoring project status, budget, compliance with GCP and procedures, identifying problems,
recommending solutions and escalating to the Director of Clinical Operations in case of issues
- Mentor for the Clinical Project Managers team about project management about budget topics; performs training for the new or junior CPMs. Could be direct line manager for a group of Clinical Project Managers.
- Supports in proposal preparation if required, attending to BID defence meeting or clients’ meeting.
- Supports the implementation of Clinical Operations procedures and suggest improvements
- Participates to scientific meetings, simposia, conferences if required
- Acts as back up of the Director of Clinical Operations, in absence **PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**: - Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or similar health field
- +10 years of clinical trial experience within a similar CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology company
- Ability to use clinical trial management systems, clinical trial databases and electronic data capture
- Understanding and knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and resource utilization
- Advanced English level
- Ability to effectively prioritize activities
