You will lead maintenance activities, train technicians, and drive initiatives to maximize machine uptime and OEE. Based in Goa, you collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime, control costs, and maintain safety and 5S standards. Your work supports continuous improvement through RCAs, FMEAs, and focused improvements. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping the efficiency of a fiber optics manufacturing environment.ResponsabilitàImplement and execute preventive maintenance programReview and optimize spare parts programProvide engineering support to close breakdowns and maximize machine uptimeLead focused improvements to improve MTBF and MTTRTrain technicians to enhance skills and knowledgeConduct RCAs/FMEAs to identify system gaps and provide fixesControl and reduce maintenance costsAdhere to KPIs and maintenance dashboards; ensure statutory complianceMechanize maintenance activities and install/commission new equipmentDevelop SPMs to boost operational efficiency and reduce maintenance activitiesMaintain safety norms and 5S standards; maximize OEEHandle equipment upgradation projects and align with installation standardsCollaborate with vendors for design, drawings, and service/sparesUtilize data tools to support decision making and reportingRequisiti fondamentaliDegree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics /Electrical/ Industrial Engineering with relevant experience6-8 years (degree) or 10-12 years (diploma) of experiencePreferably 5 years in fiber optics connector manufacturingStrong leadership and communication skillsProficient in SAP Maintenance Module; SolidWorks/AUTOCAD beneficialKnowledge of CBM tools, MTBF/MTTR, RCA, FMEA, Pareto chartsExperience with installation, commissioning, and equipment upgradesShift flexibility and ability to work in a manufacturing settingUnderstanding of mechanical and electrical installation standardsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsLeadership and team training abilityAnalytical mindset with problem-solving orientationSolidWorksAUTOCADSAP Maintenance Module
