ph3Role Overview /h3 pThe LG Costing Officer is responsible for evaluating and estimating costs, working closely with various departments to ensure accurate cost assessment.
/p pThe role supports Product Development activities related to data entry, material consumption, and data configuration on PLM for leather goods, including bags, wallets, and accessories.
/p pKey activities include applying target costing and target pricing methodologies, conducting data analysis, and monitoring cost variations from the prototype stage through to sample collection and production.
/p pThe role also covers margin analysis for collections, cost variation analysis following defect corrections, and other cost simulations, archiving documentation, and preparing reports.
/p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyze, report on, negotiate, and find improved cost solutions from the prototype phase through to production.
/li liManage costing timing /li liAnalyze finished product costs.
/li liAnalyze the cost incidence of components.
/li liEvaluate alternative scenarios.
/li liCollaborate with the Development, Industrialization, and Production teams to identify constructive alternatives.
/li liCollaborate with the Merchandising and Development teams to find solutions that meet target margins.
/li liReview and analyze cost sheets for finished products received from suppliers (women's and men's leather goods collections, across all categories).
/li liMaintain the Cost Accounting System on PLM.
/li liPrepare reports.
/li /ul h3Profile /h3 pProfile Bachelor's or Master's Degree Working proficiency in Italian and English (knowledge of French is a plus) Knowledge of PLM Strong problem-solving skills Aptitude for analytical work, with precision and method Strong analytical and negotiation skills Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
