At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions. /p h3Purpose of the position: /h3 pAs bLiquidated Damages Officer /b you will respond to the Liquidated Damages Management and be part of the Supply Chain. /p h3How can you support us? /h3 ul liAssess Contractual Entitlement to Liquidated Damages: Review supply contracts, project documentation, and performance records to determine whether contractual conditions for the application of Liquidated Damages have been met, and evaluate the Company's entitlement to claim compensation for delays or contractual breaches. /li liCalculate and Validate Liquidated Damages: Collect and analyze information from corporate systems and project stakeholders, perform Liquidated Damages calculations in accordance with contractual provisions, and prepare the supporting documentation required for internal validation and approval. /li liManage Supplier Notifications and Responses: Prepare and coordinate formal LD notifications to suppliers and subcontractors, monitor correspondence, review suppliers' justifications and supporting evidence, and update the assessment whenever new contractual information becomes available.
/li liCoordinate with Internal Stakeholders: Liaise with Project Managers, Contract Managers, Procurement, Supply Chain and other relevant functions to gather evidence, obtain required concurrences, align recovery strategies, and ensure the proper management of LD files throughout their lifecycle. /li liSupport Negotiations and Closure of LD Cases: Contribute to negotiations, settlement discussions, waiver evaluations, and recovery strategies aimed at achieving the best commercial outcome for the Company, while ensuring accurate reporting and timely closure of LD cases. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 pbEducation: /b Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Law /p pbBackground: /b 2/3 years of previous experience in Contract Management, Supply Chain, Procurement (within the Oil Gas, Energy, Engineering or Construction industry will be considered a plus) /p pbLanguages: /b good proficiency in both written and spoken English /p pbTechnical/IT Knowledge: /b SAP, Teams, Outlook, MS Office main apps. /p pbWhat else should you know? /b Some travelling will be expected within Italy and/or abroad. /p h3What We Can Offer To You /h3 ul liPermanent Contract – CCNL Energia e Petrolio /li liPay not lower than 38.000 € /li liCorporate Benefits:
