/p h3Attitude and Orbit Control System Design Junior Engineer /h3 h3Candidates that would impress us /h3 ul liYou have graduated with a Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specific focus on attitude control or in Control Systems Engineering.
/li liYou are fluent in English with excellent listening and reading skills.

You are able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team.

/li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liYou can master the kinematics and dynamics of rigid bodies with gyroscopic stiffness and flexible appendages.
/li liYou have a deep understanding of sensors and actuators technology.
/li liYou are familiar with optimal estimation theory and robust control theory.
/li liYou are proficient in Matlab, Simulink and C++ programming.
/li liYou have familiarity with automatic code generation which will be considered an advantage.
/li liYou have knowledge of space engineering standards which will be considered a plus.
/li /ul h3Life as an Attitude and Orbit Control System Design Junior Engineer role /h3 ul liAs a Junior Engineer within Thales, you will contribute to all phases of the subsystem lifecycle from feasibility studies to in-flight activities.
/li liYou will participate in the architecture definition, sizing and technical justification.
/li liYou will contribute to the analysis of the attitude perturbations environment.
/li liYou will support the specification and technical management of hardware units.
/li liYou will support the design, implementation and verification of control modes and estimation algorithms.
/li liYou will provide support in compiling control system design and analysis reports.
/li liYou will support the validation of avionics across different simulation stages on the test bench.
/li liYou will support the modeling of units and the configuration of proprietary design frameworks.
/li liYou will assist in monitoring the technical procurement of hardware components.
/li liYou will support flight operations for in-orbit activities, investigations and data analysis.
/li liYou will work primarily in Rome but you may be required to travel to other locations for short or mid-term periods.
