/ppI'm working with a major international bpower and energy solutions manufacturer /b that is making a significant investment in the growth of its Data Centre business across Europe.
/ppThey're looking for an experienced bProject Manager /b to join their Project Engineering team in Tuscany and take ownership of customised power solutions being designed, manufactured and delivered to Data Centre customers.
/ppThis is a manufacturer-side role, giving you exposure across multiple Data Centre projects and customers rather than tying you to the delivery of one individual site.
/ppYou'll manage projects from inception through to delivery, acting as the key interface between the customer and internal teams across: /ppYou'll be working with technology including bpower generation, backup power and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) /b, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required technical standards.
/ppYou'll also have the opportunity to work alongside Sales and Business Development on new Data Centre opportunities, providing technical input and feasibility assessments as the business continues to grow.
/ph3Who are we looking for?
/h3pYou'll ideally bring:
/pulli5+ years' Project Management experience within an engineering or industrial environment /liliAn Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering degree /liliExperience within Data Centres, power generation, critical power or energy infrastructure /liliKnowledge of BESS, energy storage and/or backup power solutions /liliExperience managing complex customer-facing engineering projects /liliStrong cross-functional leadership across engineering, procurement and manufacturing /liliFlexibility for occasional international travel /li /ulpExperience directly within Data Centres would be highly advantageous, but I'm equally interested in speaking with Project Managers from bpower generation, critical power, energy storage and complex engineered equipment/OEM environments /b.
/ppThe role is based near bSiena, Tuscany /b, with regular presence at the company's HQ required.
/ppSalary up to b€80,000 /b, depending on experience.
/ppThis could be a particularly interesting move for someone who wants to stay close to the technical side of Data Centres while moving into a bglobal manufacturer with ambitious plans for this market /b.
