Keysight is looking for aWireless Protocol Software Engineerwith strong3GPP protocol expertise, focused onLayer 1 (L1) and Scheduler, to contribute to advanced 5G andpre?6Gwireless technology development.
In this role, you will workclose to standards and real implementations, translating evolving 3GPP specifications intorobust, high?performance software capabilities.
You will contribute directly toearly 6G pre?standard implementations,
shaping how next?generation wireless systems are designed, validated, and deployed.
This role operates in amulti?site international engineering environment, at the intersection ofstandards, algorithms, and real?world systems.

Responsibilities
Design and implementoptimized softwarealigned with5G L1 algorithms and protocols
Develop and enhanceUE and base station emulation
Contribute topre?6G standards, following3GPP evolution
Translate evolving requirements (3GPP releases, operator acceptance needs, O?RAN priorities) into clear software designs, test workflows, and reusable components
Collaborate with cross?functional experts (systems, RF, protocol, product, customers/partners) to reproduce field issues, debug complex behaviors, and deliver fixes with strongroot?cause discipline
Qualifications
Expertise in3GPP LTE / NR
Focus onL1 protocols and Scheduler alogorithms
C / C++
Real?time programming
Software development and debugging
Technical communication inEnglish
NVIDIA CUDA GPU programming(preferred)
Experience withCI/CD, test frameworks, containers, and/or cloud?based environments (preferred)
Experience working in amulti?site environment(preferred)
