Overview
As a Business Developer for Vertical Markets, you will drive growth by identifying and expanding strategic market segments.
You will design customized solutions for targeted verticals and partner with Marketing to launch products in these markets.
You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and analytics to prioritize opportunities, optimize pricing, and track KPIs.
This role blends market insight with solution selling to accelerate vertical growth, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating across teams.
Location: North Italy with travel up to 75%.
Responsabilità
Deliver best-in-class technical/market pricing to customers
Design customized solutions for specific verticals
Drive new product launches in collaboration with Marketing
Identify strategic product pricing and maintain accurate data to build plans against KPIs
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop indirect sales channels
Conduct deep market studies to support new or growing verticals
Coordinate Sales,
Marketing and Operations to ensure smooth sales processes
Generate reports and dashboards to monitor vertical performance and identify improvements
Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements for scalable vertical growth
Work with local sales to achieve segment growth and perform post-mortem analyses on lost cases
Prioritize customers with a hunter mindset and manage quotations and follow-ups
Identify potential partnerships with third parties to strengthen vertical market outreach
Requisiti fondamentali
5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the industrial sector
Bachelor in Business
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Salesforce, PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with channel sales models and partner ecosystems
Cross-functional collaboration
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
