We are now looking for anInvestment Analysis Associate to join our team in Milan.
The teamAt OX2 you will work in aninternational, entrepreneurial environmentwith colleagues committed to accelerating theenergy transition.
In Italy, the team is developing projects across solar, agrivoltaics, wind, and energy storage, supporting the country's transition to a sustainable and decarbonized energy system.
The Investment Analysis team is a central function that works across the organization at every stage of a project, from early development, through the financing process and transactions, to ongoing operations.
The team is responsible for providing the organization with commercial and business case insight to guide business decisions and direction.
About the RoleAs an Investment Analysis Associate, you will drive financial modelling, valuation, and data analysis to support investment decisions across our projects.
This is a hands?on analytical role focused on building robust financial models, analyzing complex datasets, and developing investment business cases.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will support transactions and project evaluations through high?quality quantitative insights and commercial analysis.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintainfinancial modelsfor renewable energy projects and portfolios
Performvaluation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity modellingto assess investment opportunities
Develop and updatedata?driven business casesacross the project lifecycle
Analysemarket data, assumptions,
and risk factorsto support investment decisions
Prepareclear, structured decision materialsbased on quantitative insights
Support transaction processes withanalytical input and modelling
Contribute to improvingmodelling standards, valuation methods, and internal tools
Collaborate with cross?functional teams to ensurehigh?quality data and assumptions
Qualifications & ExperienceAcademic background inFinance, Economics, Engineering, or similar
2+ years of experience in investment analysis, M&A;, valuation, transaction services, or similar
Experience from a Big Four firm combined with exposure to the energy or renewable energy industry is considered a strong advantage
Strongfinancial modelling and Excel skills
Excellentanalytical and numerical capabilities, with attention to detail
Experience working withdata, structured analysis, and quantitative problem?solving
Fluent inEnglishand Italian is a must
Interest inrenewable energy and infrastructure investments

Moreover, you are curious and motivated to understand underlying assumptions and drivers andmotivated by solving analytical problems
