ph3Position Summary /h3h3JOB DESCRIPTION /h3ulliThe Presales Electrical Engineer is an important part of an interdisciplinary team of technical experts (mechanical, structural, architectural) to bring together schematic design for Data center (Hyperscale, Enterprise, Colocation, Edge, CLS) and Critical Infrastructure facilities.
Position includes applying theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, as well as communicational skills in the fields of Clean Energy, AI and Data center design.
/li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulliConcept design of Data center electrical power systems and architecture, with traditional and AI design requirements, which includes:ulliLV power distribution (low voltage switchgear, uninterruptible power supply systems, busbar systems) /liliMV power distribution systems (medium voltage switchgear and transformers) /liliAuxiliary systems (AC, DC), lightning protection systems, diesel gensets....
/liliElectrical load calculations, arc flash, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools /liliElectrical single-line diagrams /li /ul /liliUnderstanding of relevant codes and standards for electrical power equipment and installations /liliCoordination with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection) /liliReading and understanding RFP and tender documents /liliProblem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions /liliModular Data center technical solutions and quotations /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering /lili5+ years experience /liliProficient in Electrical power system design /liliSizing and specification of electrical equipment and installations /liliKnowledge of electrical load calculations, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools /liliSolid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment /liliPC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl.
