/p /brh3Job Description /h3 /brpHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Junior Test Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks within our Rolling Stock Engineering Department – Climate Chamber Laboratory.
The position is based in Pistoia - IT.
/p /brh3Accountabilities /h3 /brul /brliFull responsibility for managing the entire calibration and certification cycle of laboratory instruments (for instance PT100 temperature sensor).
/li /brliResponsible for managing the calibration certificate expiry schedule of all laboratory instruments.
/li /brliSupport the analysis of the test specifications from Design Department regarding HVAC Testing.
/li /brliSupport design of the equipment necessary for the proper test execution.
/li /brliPrepare the technical documents for the Purchasing phase of the Test equipment.
/li /brliDevelop the test procedure according to the Test Specifications, applicable International Standards and specific Regulations.
/li /brliSupport the Lab Team Specialists for the Test Bench setup.
/li /brliExecute the test campaign together with the Test Team.
/li /brliAnalyze the test data according to Test Specifications and Standards.
/li /brliPrepare the test reports.
/li /brliManagement of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
/li /brliSupport the Lab Manager /Senior Test Engineer in interfacing with Customers, Lab Suppliers or quality organizations.
/li /brliSupport the development of the Lab Quality System.
/li /br /ul /brh3Required Skills / Knowledge /h3 /brul /brliKnowledge of instrument calibration processes and procedures.
/li /brliStrong interest and aptitude in experimental activities.
/li /brliGood ability to work effectively in a team.
/li /brliKnowledge of at least one computer programming language (for instance C, C++, .Net, C#, Python).
/li /brliGood knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and databases such as Microsoft Access and SQL Server.
/li /brliMinimum experience (1-2 years) in the field engineering.
/li /brliAvailability for national and international business trips.
/li /br /ul /brh3Desired Skills / Knowledge /h3 /brul /brliKnowledge/Experience of Mechanical Testing and/or Stress Experimental Analysis.
/li /brliExperimental thesis.
/li /brliKnowledge of Sw Scientific Tools (Matlab or Labview).
/li /brliKnowledge/Experience of Measurement Process/Analysis and Acquisition Systems.
