ppbMercor is hiring experienced musicians to evaluate generative music AI models, in partnership with a leading AI lab.
/b /ppYou will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres and rate it against detailed quality standards, working in Italian and English.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliCompare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities /liliRate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality /liliEvaluate whether lyrics sound natural, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliNative or near-native proficiency in Italian, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English /liliExperience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist,



with knowledge of the Italian music scene /liliHeadphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliFormal training in music performance, theory, or composition /liliCredited or published songwriting work /liliBroad familiarity with contemporary Italian genres, sub-genres, and artists /li /ulh3Project Timeline /h3ulliStart date: immediate /liliDuration: up to 6 months /liliCommitment: flexible.
Most experts work around 20 hours per week; there is no cap /liliCompensation: this role is currently paid hourly.
The pay structure may move to per-task during the project; if it does, your effective hourly rate will stay the same.
