OverviewAs an Energy Underwriter, you will assess and bind new and renewal energy risks within approved authority to drive profitable growth.
You will build strong broker and client relationships, supporting risk management and service excellence across Italy.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate pricing, timely policy implementation, and effective risk control.

ResponsabilitàUnderwrite energy risks within plan and authority, reviewing submissions and risk indicators to determine risk level
Calculate risk premium considering sector risk costs, reinsurance, and operating costs to ensure profitability
Advise and service clients on insurance and risk management needs to secure satisfaction and coverage
Identify and develop opportunities for profitable business and cross-sell products
Collaborate with Distribution to provide efficient service and maintain account hygiene
Monitor financial exposure and premium income against limits and contribute to business planning
Pass accurate information to Operations for policy issuance and program implementation
Maintain awareness of active claims and contribute to settlements as needed
Requisiti fondamentaliExperience underwriting energy business and strong market knowledge
Bilingual in English and Italian
Stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Analytical capability for risk evaluation and data-driven decision making
Teamwork across levels of seniority and areas of expertise
Willingness to contribute to business transformation and knowledge of emerging trends
