pbNon-Key Expert – Space Applications Expert, Earth Observation Copernicus /b /ppbr/ppbNTU International /b is preparing a proposal for the project b"Support to the Africa-EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost." /b /ppbr/ppThe programme aims to strengthen cooperation between bAfrica and the European Union in the space sector /b, supporting policy dialogue, institutional partnerships, knowledge exchange, innovation, private sector engagement and investment, while contributing to stronger and more sustainable African space ecosystems.
/ppbr/ppIn this context, we are seeking a highly qualified bNon-Key Expert – Space Applications Expert, Earth Observation Copernicus /b to support the development, deployment and uptake of Earth Observation (EO) services and applications, including solutions based on bCopernicus data and products /b, addressing key development, climate and environmental priorities in Africa.
/ppbr/ppbMinimum Qualifications and Skills /b /pulliUniversity degree at bMaster's level /b in bgeomatics, remote sensing, environmental science, meteorology, engineering /b, or a related field.
/liliExcellent command of bEnglish /b.
/liliWorking knowledge of bFrench and/or Portuguese /b will be considered an asset.
/li /ulpbr/ppbMinimum General Professional Experience /b /pulliMinimum b8 years of professional experience /b in bEarth Observation, geospatial services, remote sensing and/or climate/environmental services /b.
/li /ulpbr/ppbMinimum Specific Professional Experience /b /pulliAt least b4 years of professional experience designing or delivering Earth Observation services and applications /b, preferably using bCopernicus data and products /b, in areas such as early warning, climate, environment, agriculture, water or biodiversity.
/liliExperience with African institutions and user uptake is an asset.
