This provides a unique opportunity to join a high-performing, entrepreneurial team and play a key role in building a differentiated Indirect Tax offering in the market.The Indirect Tax TeamIndirect taxes are complex and can create significant cost, risk, and operational burden if not managed effectively. Our team provides practical, commercially focused VAT advice to help clients navigate these challenges.We support clients across the full lifecycle of their business, with a strong focus on transactions, restructurings, and supply chain optimisation. This includes advising on the VAT implications of M&A, due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integration,



as well as identifying opportunities to improve VAT efficiency.We work closely with clients to manage cross-border VAT challenges and embed indirect tax considerations into strategic decision-making. Our team collaborates across jurisdictions to deliver coordinated, high-quality advice on complex international matters.The RoleAs an Indirect professional you will play a central role in delivering VAT advisory work and supporting the growth of the Indirect Tax practice in Italy.You will:Work closely with Managing Directors on VAT advisory projects.Advise clients on VAT aspects of transactions, restructurings, and supply chain changesManage a portfolio of clients, delivering practical, commercially driven tax adviceOversee compliance requirements while maintaining an advisory-led focusEnsuring technical accuracy and commercial relevanceManage multiple engagements, budgets, and client relationships effectivelyContribute to cross-border projects, working with colleagues across A&M’s European networkSupport business development initiatives and help grow the Italy Indirect Tax offeringWhat We Are Looking ForExperience in indirect tax / VAT, ideally within a Big 4 or leading advisory firmStrong technical knowledge of VAT,



with exposure to transactions or international workProven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality workStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skillsExperience reviewing work and supporting junior team developmentStrong communication skills in Italian and EnglishRelevant professional qualification (e.G. chartered accountant, Italian equivalent, or tax qualification) preferredA proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentYour Development at A&MAt A&M, we prioritise real responsibility and hands-on experience.
