ppRINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Marine Noise Vibration Engineer - Maternity Cover to join its office in La Spezia, Italy within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe Marine Noise Vibration Engineer is responsible for evaluating and assessing noise and vibration levels on board maritime vessels. They play a critical role in ensuring that vessels comply with industry standards and regulations, enhancing and the well-being of passengers and crew members. RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Marine Noise Vibration Engineer – Maternity Cover to join its office in La Spezia, Italy, within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division. /p pAs a Junior Marine Noise Vibration Engineer, you will support the assessment of noise and vibration levels on board maritime vessels, contributing to measurements, data analysis, technical reporting and compliance verification. The role is particularly suited to a recent graduate or young engineer with an interest in naval engineering, acoustics, vibration and shipboard testing. You will work alongside experienced engineers and progressively develop your technical expertise in marine noise and vibration. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liSupport senior engineers during noise and vibration measurements on board vessels, including sea trials and inspections. /li liAssist in the collection, processing and analysis of measurement data. /li liSupport the identification of noise and vibration sources and potential technical issues. /li liContribute to the assessment of vessels against applicable IMO, IACS, RINA and ISO requirements. /li liPrepare technical reports, measurement records and assessment documentation. /li liSupport senior engineers in reviewing technical documentation and applicable regulations.
/li liCollaborate with shipyards, shipowners and other technical teams during inspections and sea trials. /li liDevelop knowledge of marine noise and vibration assessment methodologies and relevant regulations. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree /p pMaster’s Degree in Naval Engineering or Mechanical Engineering /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liRecent graduate in Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or up to 1 year of experience in similar roles /li liPrevious internship, thesis or academic project related to naval engineering, acoustics, vibrations, testing or measurements is a plus /li liBasic knowledge of mechanics, vibrations and/or acoustics. /li liGood analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liGood knowledge of English /li liOpen, if needed, to travel and work on board vessels during inspections and sea trial /li liMotivation to learn and develop technical expertise in marine noise and vibration /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pThis is an opportunity to join an experienced technical team and develop specialized expertise in marine noise and vibration, working directly on vessels and sea trials and gaining exposure to international maritime regulations and classification activities. /p h3Competencies /h3 ul liPERSONAL EMPOWERMENT - Ownership for life, work and results, striving to grow professionally and personally.

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€30000 and €40000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
