This role will support regulatory, safety, and sustainability initiatives across international markets, with a focus on products manufactured for the cosmetics, beauty, fragrance, and personal care industries. /ppThe bJunior Product Compliance Engineer /b will ensure that products manufactured and commercialized by Silgan Dispensing Systems comply with applicable regulatory, chemical safety, sustainability, and customer-specific requirements worldwide. /ppThe bJunior Product Compliance Engineer /b supports global product compliance activities throughout the product lifecycle, helping to ensure that products manufactured and commercialized by Silgan Dispensing Systems meet applicable regulatory, chemical safety, sustainability, and customer-specific requirements worldwide. /ppIn this role, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, regulatory experts, and international stakeholders across different regions, supporting compliance initiatives in a global business environment. /ph3Job Responsibilities /h3h3Regulatory Compliance /h3ulliEvaluate products and raw materials against applicable international regulations and customer requirements. /liliAssess supplier documentation and chemical composition data to verify compliance. /liliSupport the preparation and maintenance of product compliance documentation, declarations, technical files, and customer-specific regulatory requirements. /liliMonitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on existing and future products. /liliIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate potential compliance risks affecting the product portfolio. /li /ulh3Customer Supplier Support /h3ulliRespond to customer inquiries regarding product composition, regulatory compliance, material safety, and sustainability requirements. /liliCoordinate and manage regulatory requests from customers. /liliCollaborate with suppliers to obtain, review, and maintain compliance data and supporting documentation. /liliAct as a key compliance contact for internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders. /li /ulh3Sustainability Product Stewardship /h3ulliSupport initiatives related to sustainable sourcing, recyclability, circular economy, and environmental compliance.
/liliContribute to product stewardship activities and sustainability-driven projects. /liliAssist in evaluating materials against current and emerging sustainability requirements. /li /ulh3Process Improvement /h3ulliSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of product compliance systems and databases. /liliAnalyze compliance processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and data quality. /liliPromote best practices and help drive a proactive compliance culture across the organization. /li /ulh3Requirements Skills /h3ulliMaster's degree in bEngineering /b , Chemistry, Environmental Science or a related field is required. /liliPrevious experience of 1-2 years in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Product Compliance, or a similar role is preferred. /lilibRecent graduates /b holding a Master's degree in the above-mentioned fields will also be considered, even without prior professional experience. /liliCandidates with a bBachelor's degree /b and bprevious experience /b in the same disciplines may also be considered. /li /ulh3Nice to have : familiarity with product and chemical regulatory requirements, including: /h3ulliEU regulations such as REACH, CLP, Cosmetics Regulation, and Food Contact Materials legislation. /liliUS regulations such as TSCA, FDA, EPA/state-level chemical programs, FIFRA, Proposition 65, and CPSC requirements. /liliSimilar international regulatory frameworks. /liliExperience with GHS, Dangerous Goods classifications, HTS classifications, and other material classification schemes. /liliKnowledge of emerging global regulatory topics related to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) would be considered an advantage. /lilibAdvanced/Fluent English /b proficiency is required.
