ppUna carriera in Hitachi Rail rappresenta un investimento per il futuro. /p h3Job Description: /h3 pHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated bDesign Installation Engineer /b. /p pThe successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Italy. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liIdentify contract requirements in terms of equipment and cableways installation design and monitor their compliance with the contract. /li liDesign, coordinate and verify the installation design of the main railway systems technologies (Signalling, Power Supply and Traction Power, Overhead Contact Line, Telecommunications, Automatic Fare Collection, Security/Surveillance, Public Address, etc.), ensuring its compliance with the contract, system requirements, and local regulations. /li liDesign, coordinate and verify the cableways layout and cable routes within technical rooms and along the track system, managing filling ratios, challenging existing pathways, and proposing new ones. /li liCooperate with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator in the definition of all required information to define equipment BIM models, based on the target level of development identified in the BIM Execution Plan. /li liPrepare, attend chair clash detection resolution meetings. Manage and seek resolution of clashes among Railway technologies. /li liEnsure the application of quality procedures for document issuance at every stage of design.
/li liIdentify critical issues in project development and propose mitigation actions. /li liRepresent the installation engineering team and support design choices with the client. /li /ul ul liProficiently use BIM and CAD software for interface definition and management, as part of the project delivery strategy according to the Engineering Management Plan. /li /ul h3Competencies: /h3 ul liInstallation engineering principles /li liElectrical and mechanical systems integration /li liReading and interpretation of technical drawings and schematics /li liProblem solving /li liSchedule management /li liInterface management /li liContractor coordination /li /ul h3Required Skills/ Knowledge /h3 ul li5 to 10 years of experience in technologies installation design, preferably within the Railway Engineering context, as per the accountabilities description. /li liSite surveying activity on installation works or existing infrastructures to gather information to complete installation design. /li liIdentify, understand and overcome installation challenges during design development. /li liSize pathways and raceways considering existing conditions. /li liFamiliarity with Requirement Traceability Matrix and Interface Registers tools.
/li liTechnical management of subcontractors /li liStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. /li liAbility to adapt to changes in a project environment. /li liProficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks /li liKnowledge of Common Data environment tools for BIM processes. /li liPrevious construction experience will be considered as a plus. /li /ul h3Desired Skills/ Knowledge /h3 ul liAbility to stay organized and maintain project records. /li liTeamwork. /li liCooperative approach. /li liMobility mindset. /li /ul h3Education/Qualifications /h3 ul liCivil Engineering/Building Engineering/Architecture Degree /li /ul ul liElectrical Engineering Degree will be considered in selection process, if the candidate shows proof of wide installation design expertise in railway sector. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liEnglish fluent. /li liItalian proficiency. /li /ul pAlla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.
